Sunday Worship Schedule: Worship Times
Jan. 11: Baby Blessing Day: Celebrating babies born in 2025.
Jan. 25: Family Celebration and lunch. We’ll celebrate what God did at Clear Creek in 2025 and hear from our shepherds about our plans and goals for 2026! Join us for lunch in the gym after the family celebration at 11:00, or after second worship.
Adult Sunday Morning Bible Classes. Join a Bible study class on Sunday at 10:15am. All of our Bible classes focus on: Reflecting On Scripture (studying in a way that leads to application and transformation), Service (providing opportunities to serve both on Sunday morning and during the week), and Connection (fostering relationships that can be deepened through small groups).

We extend our sympathy to Olice Holcomb on the passing of her 15 month old great grandson, Braylon Allison, who passed away Jan. 3 after several months of health issues. India Allison Holcomb, Olice's granddaughter, is his grieving mother.

Kicking off January 11, we’re diving into the book of James, a fast-paced, practical series all about real faith in real life. You’ll be encouraged, challenged, and inspired as we walk through this powerful little letter together. Plus, everyone will receive a free James Journal for the series, complete with sermon notes, group guides, and a daily scripture reading to help you journal your way through James.

We’re diving into a new series in this new year going through book of James, a straight-shooting letter for real life when faith gets tested. James kicks off his letter with the question: What if your trial isn't random, and what if it wasn't wasted? It's about perspective and what you hold onto. Come Sunday and let James reframe the pressure you are under. You might just see what God is trying to form in you.

Jackie Odum is home recovering after a hospital stay following surgery on her leg wound care, low hemoglobin, and oxygen issues. She is getting better and stronger, but will take time to recover. Prayers are appreciated.
Gary Sanders is home after a hospital stay with pneumonia. Prayers as he recovers.
Keith Dolberry had 5 bypasses surgery on Dec. 22 and went home on Dec. 26. Surgery went well, prayers are appreciated as he recovers.
Lori Hansel finished her last radiation treatment on Dec. 22. She began chemotherapy on Aug. 12 for mouth cancer and had surgery Oct. 1. Pray for healing and reduced swelling.
Gloria Sue Turner, mother of Betty Mobley, is at Soddy Daisy Healthcare Center for rehab after a fall with broken arms and pelvis. Her address at the healthcare center is 701 Sequoyah Rd. Room 310, Soddy Daisy, TN 37379.
Jerry (Peanut) Holloway, brother of Jana Cannon, had successful kidney removal surgery on Dec. 8 due to cancer. He plans to go to MD Anderson in Houston January 13.
Joy Greathouse is very sick, her multiple myeloma has come back in a fierce way and she is continuing with chemo. Prayers are needed! Cards are appreciated.
Loni Cypher, niece of Leonard Frey, lives in Texas and her metastatic melanoma tumors have grown following chemo. She has started a new IV immunotherapy that she will do once a month. They will do scans and evaluate again after 3 months. Prayers are appreciated.
Edithann Broadrick is under hospice care at home after rehab following surgery due to an infection that got into the bone of her big toe and had to be amputated.

Haiti 2026: Our Haiti mission trips are a great opportunity to build relationships, learn to share Jesus through discipleship, and get exposure to foreign missions! If you are interested in being informed and knowing more about a Haiti trip this summer (July 17-25, 2026) please complete the form below to let us know. WOMEN
Jan. 12: Monday Ladies Group: Resumes meeting January 12 at 10:00am in Room A8. They will begin the study Seamless by Angie Smith.
Tuesday Ladies Group: Class meets on Tuesdays at 11:00am Jan 13, lesson 4: Matthew chapters 8, 11 and 12 and Luke 7, 8 and 11 in A2.
Feb. 27: Ladies My Favorite Things: In the café starting at 6:00pm. This is a good opportunity to invite a friend, and to meet and connect with your church sisters. If one of your favorite things is NOT getting up in front of other people, we’ve got that covered. RSVP. Bring a finger food and three of one favorite thing ($5 & under) to share; go home with three new favorites.

MEN
Jan. 17: Men's Chili Cook Off: Starts at 6:00pm in the gym. Men, bring your favorite chili! After dinner we plan to have some time hearing about how God has worked in the lives of some of our men, and spend time in prayer together. It's for any guy 6th grade and up... so dads feel free to bring your middle or high school son with you. You can bring a friend or coworker too. Please RSVP to let us know you are coming and if you plan to enter the chili competition.
Friday Morning Group meets at 6:30am in the conference room.
